Afternoon Bible StudyAn afternoon Bible Study Group which met for the first time on Monday 18th February has proved to be popular, especially with those who do not like going out in the evenings! Having recently completed the course 'Christianity Explored' we are now studying the Gospel of John. This Gospel was written so that its readers might believe that Jesus is the promised Saviour, the Son of God and that through faith in him we might have eternal life (John 20:31). The group is very informal and everyone is encouraged to ask questions. We meet on Monday afternoons at 2pm in the Church Hall and others are welcome to come along. If you are interested in joining then please contact Sue Powell.

St Michael's has a strong and thriving Ladies' Guild which meets every other Monday (except July and August) in the Church Hall at 7 p.m. We have speakers to talk on a variety of topics, hold fund raising events for the Church and other church charities. In addition we have frequent "nights out" to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, etc. (we don't need much of an excuse). A recent innovation has been the establishment of a choir, which we hope to continue in the coming year. If you can sing (or even if you can't) we need you. We are always happy to welcome new blood and would do our best to make sure you enjoy yourselves. If you think you might enjoy our type of fun, don’t be shy, come and see. Elected officers are :-
