Bible Study

The Group restarts on Wednesday the 19th September to study Joshua

All meetings start at 7 pm in the Church Hall, Cwmafan.

Feel free to come and join us to see if you would like to join us on a more permanent basis.

Contemplative Prayer Group

The group meets at 2 p.m. in the Church Hall on the 2nd Monday of each month.

Ladies Guild

As is our custom we have August off and start our meetings again on 3rd September.  This will be a coffee evening.  Then on 17th September we are going to Kilcadies for a buffet meal to celebrate a birthday and two special anniversaries.  On 15th October Rev. Gaynor Daniels is coming to tell us all about her visit to Africa and on 29th October Mrs. Vicky Weeks MBE will tell us about her visit to Buckingham Palace.

12th November is to be arranged and 26th November is a coffee evening.  We will be decorating the Church hall on 10th December for the Carol concert on 17th December.

These meeting start at 7 pm in the Church Hall, unless we’re out for the evening.

Please come and join us, the more the merrier.  We’re a friendly bunch and don’t bite – at least not very hard!

Mothers’ Union

We’ve finished for the summer now, but start back on 12th September with a talk from Mr. Andrew Vollanz about  “Women in War”.  Then on 10th October it’s the turn of Mrs. Polly Davies to tell us all about “Halloween”.  There will be a WELCARE Service sometime during November but we haven’t had the date for that yet.  On 14th November we are having a coffee evening and will use that evening to pay for our Xmas dinner which hopefully will be on 12th December, and that’s another year under our belts!

All meetings start at 7 pm in the Church Hall, Cwmafan.

Feel free to come and join us to see if you would like to join us on a more permanent basis.
